Get Juiced.....
...
.............................................................
The healing power of certain foods and herbs was recognized as far back as when Hippocrates was around. Since then, many well known pioneers such as Dr Max Gerson have run with the knowledge and created a wealth of evidence and knowledge of the therapeutic properties of juices.

Get juiced - image

As we become more interested in natural ways of improving our health, we realise that freshly made fruit and vegetable juices provide many of the essential vitamins and minerals that are vital for a healthy life. Taking time out of a busy day to remember to eat 5 fruit and veg a day can sometimes take a low priority so why not take an extra five minutes in the morning to juice it all.

Try it, it really does make a difference to your energy levels and overall sense of wellbeing.

Drinking juices or blends on a regular basis combined with a good exercise program will help you enjoy clearer skin, better energy levels and balanced overall health.

So let's get started. There's heaps of information on the right type of blender/ juicer to use out there on the web and one of the most comprehensive guides I've found is called 'juices and smoothies' by Suzannah Olivier and Joanna Farrow or the complete juice book by Suzannah Olivier. They give a full explaination of the type of equipment to buy, the nutritional value and health benefits of the fruit and juice combinations and heaps of recipes to be going on with.

The following two recipes have come from their books. So get juicing and get healthy!
